Animation forum presented the creative work of future filmmakers
Our University hosted the 31st Animation Forum dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution and the Year of Ecology. The program of the event included seminars and master classes, as well as viewing animated films created by students
Opening the large-scale event, which became traditional for the university, the head of the department of computer graphics and design, the doctor of technical sciences, assistant professor Elena Nesterova stressed that the first day of the work is devoted to acquaintance with the creativity of students studying the specialties "Graphics" (specialization "Animation and Computer Graphics" ) and "Design" (profile "Designer in the media industry"). 72 animated films and animation trailers were presented to the audience. The total time of the show was 119 minutes.
All the work of future filmmakers aroused great interest among the participants and guests of the forum. But the greatest response was received by the animated films of Marina Kapinus "Caterpillar", Ksenia Petrova "100 Years of Revolution", Dmitry Gavrilik "How to become a hero", Margarita Bukhareva "Earth Hour" and Irina Tsaralungi "Long live the Socialist Revolution".
The real adornment of the forum was also the performance of the participants of the folklore ensemble "Zarya-Zaryanitsa" under the guidance of Nadezhda Matveeva. The composer Pavel Yermolayev performed the song of his own composition "Ice Cream" and Anastasia Shchukina sang a vocal composition "Petersburg meets guests".
The second day of the 31st Animation Forum was devoted to holding seminars. All the messages of future filmmakers were met with great interest by the audience, sparked a lively discussion.
The forum once again proved its relevance for students of our University. Their activity, purposefulness and desire to develop in the chosen profession are always supported by teachers.
