From shooting videos to exploring Korean culture: Nadezhda Podbereznykh told us about participating in an international university project

The participation of student Nadezhda Podbereznykh in the ieeeBTStv project was "a new experience for her, which began with the shooting of videos and their editing, and ended with an introduction to new technologies and culture". Our university continues to expand cooperation with the People's Republic of China

From 21 to 24 September, our university was visited by a delegation from Inner Mongolia Normal University, IMNU located in the Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. This is the second-largest administrative unit in China located in the northern part of the country. Inner Mongolia Normal University is a key educational institution of the autonomous region, founded in 1952

Alisa Pashkova, a graduate of St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television (2018), became the owner of the second prize at the "2018 Looking China Golden Lenses Awards" and took part in the international youth film project "Looking China Youth Film Project" again. A day with leading international bodies, Partners of IBC: Students talk to key players

On September 13-18 the largest in Europe International Broadcasting Convention IBC2018 was held in Amsterdam (Netherlands). 15 halls with 1,700 exhibitors from 170 countries of all around the world, 400 professional speakers - all this turned out to be a reality for student sfrom Russia, France, Germany and United Kingdom with the Bursaries from the IEEE BTS and the IABM Educational Foundation. First Bursaries from the IABM were introduced in 2002, when 2 students from Ravensbourne College in the U.K. were selected, and then were extended to four students for 2003 and 2004, when two pairs of students from Ravensbourne College, UK and St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television, Russia were selected. Then, IEEE BTS established its own bursary program. In 2018, 11 students from Russia, France, Germany and United Kingdom whose studies are related to broadcast engineering were granted and visited IBC2018 to enhance their knowledge and to improve their potential career value.

The start of the Finnish film project: students share their impressions

St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television and Hainan Normal University have strengthened cooperation

June 27 rector of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television, Professor Alexander D. Evmenov and rector of Hainan Normal University, Professor Lin Qiang signed an agreement on cooperation. The visit of the Chinese delegation and the signing of the document are an important result of the international partnership launched in the summer of 2016.
