At present, the project approach is the main one when creating any media products (films, television programmes) and requires the availability of comprehensive knowledge from specialists implementing media projects in practice. On the one hand, project managers should have in-depth knowledge of the specifics of film and television and other areas of the socio-cultural sphere, humanities, know their history, current state and directions of their development. On the other hand, they should possess the knowledge, skills, methods and technologies of project management, its economic justification and evaluation.
The direction "Arts and Humanities" is designed to train future professionals – project managers – in the field of cinematography and television, as well as in other areas of socio-cultural activities.
This direction allows you to get:
- basic knowledge in the field of cinematography and television, audio-visual and other types of arts, humanities, modern art and culture;
- professional skills in design and implementation of commercially successful and significant artistic projects in the socio-cultural sphere;
- organizational and managerial skills, allowing the implementation of projects of various levels and complexity in the field of film and television, as well as in mass media and other areas of the socio-cultural sphere;
- knowledge and skills of entrepreneurship in the socio-cultural sphere.
Such a variety of knowledge and skills will allow graduates to successfully carry out professional activities not only in the field of film and television, but also in other areas of the socio-cultural sphere.
